Sam Jones

Award winning female vocalist.

Sam's natural ability to entertain started with musical theatre at the age of nine, however she was proven to be a born entertainer, winning her first talent competition at just the young age of five. She continued her passion for entertainment by achieving a National Diploma in Performing Arts at Stafford College in 2003. Although her passion for entertaining continued in competition's and karaoke, it wasn't until she was introduced to Darren Dawson, that she believed she could make a living doing the thing she loved.

Sam began singing with Darren as the duo since 2004 which gave her the confidence and experience to launch her solo act. Her solo career began in August 2008, and she is now well established on the club scene with her renditions of classic hits from the years gone by right up to present day, including Tina Turner, Cher, Bonnie Tyler, Dusty Springfield, Carpenters, Duffy, Pink, Amy Winehouse just to mention a few. Her approachable personality and obvious passion for singing shines through in her performances, and she strives to share her enjoyment with her audiences.

The West Midlands counties club scene have also recognised Sam's act with an award. At the shooting star's awards show held on the 26th February 2009, Sam was presented with the award for Star female newcomer.

This accomplished solo act has led to a healthy looking diary for 2010, and Sam is now taking bookings for 2011.
